240 first avenue security breach

June 9, 2012
To the best of my knowledge, early yesterday (Friday) the 240 First Avenue Terrace entry was forced open breaking the locking mechanism. As of 5pm today this entry still provides free access to our building and homes. I called security yesterday at 7:30p to apprise them of the breach then again this morning after finding the door in disrepair. Security takes no responsibility for either checking out or making the repair. They simply alert someone else to do the work. As of this evening some 36 hours after first being alerted to the damage, by another tenant, nothing has been done. Please do your part and contact security letting them know this situation is not acceptable and that they have a responsibility to do more than just pass the information along to others.
