Housing and Here and Now and the Real Rent Reform Campaign need volunteers for a tenant advocacy phone bank any evening, Mondays through Thursdays.  In the closing weeks of the legislative session, tenants are pushing hard on four State Senators who are working to destroy New York’s rent regulation laws.  We need your help to call tenants in their heavily rent-stabilized districts and encourage them to represent the sentiments of their constituents. 

We can make a difference.  Tenants can win this year in Albany through grassroots power.  Tenants fought for and won the rent laws we have now, and we can win again.  Phone bank nightly at a central Manhattan location from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.  You are not required to stay for the full three hours.  Please call Tiffany Paul at (212) 920-6613 or e-mail: tiffany(at)housinghereandnow(dot)org to sign up for the phone bank.
