Gas Repiping for 5, 7, & 9 Stuyvesant Oval: No Extension of Deadline on Compensation Offer

Beam management gave tenants of 5, 7, and 9 Stuyvesant Oval less than a week to choose between two compensation offers for the buildings' gas repiping project. Since the offer differed substantially from what was offered other buildings and raised several concerns, the TA consulted with its attorney and enlisted Council Member Keith Powers to negotiate with Beam Living president Yulia Yutsis. The TA sent a separate letter to Siobhan Kennedy, Senior VP of Operations.

With the deadline for tenants to respond quickly approaching, we were informed by CM Powers that Ms. Yutsis had declined to extend the deadline.
