TA Annual Meeting: Thursday, May 28, at 6:30 p.m.

Your Tenants Association is holding a virtual open meeting on Thursday, May 28, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube, and you may submit questions by Sunday, May 24, for the TA or our guests.

This will be TA president Susan Steinberg’s last public meeting. She will be resigning from the board, effective June 30, 2026, after 30 years of service.

At the meeting we will announce the results of the election for the board of directors, and we will also present an annual report.

After that, we will be joined by the following elected representatives to address issues of tenant concern:

State Senator Kristen Gonzalez

• AI legislation
• Housing in the state budget
• Assaults on our voting rights

Assembly Member Keith Powers (staff member)

• SCRIE/DRIE senior citizen or disability rent increase exemption

Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal

City Council Member Virginia Maloney

•     City Council legislation
